Hi guys, Jesus here. cool Idea. Checking the head topology I found it a bit forced on the sides of the HR poly. I suggest to use the low poly and change the display in the smooth tab in Maya, so you will have the same amount of polygons, but with the sweetness of the subD's. As this character probably will be showing force emotions, it is a good idea to keep it even in the sizes of the poly's all over.
